Conveniently close to the M25, Chipstead SC is a very friendly club that has hosted our class for many years. A number of class stalwarts are members, such as our Boat Register Supremo Peter Lanham, Neil Banks (famous from his Gybe Mark Team antics at FFSC) and now those fast around the cans Dom Jennie and Izzy Johnson family. So friendly but great competitors springs to mind. Did I mention the club's legendary teas....just don't miss one is my advice!

Spinnaker Twisted Tube and Open Meeting – 2 events over 2 days
Always a popular end of season pairing of events, with 2 boat team racing on the Saturday, where you change your team mate each race. How they work out who wins beats me.... But it's a great fun event and well supported by students and younger members, plus some older team race lovers! On the Sunday, after an evening in the Alice Lisle Inn, or somewhere like that in the New Forest, hangovers allowing the next event is the open…
